I am fascinated by Art. As a child I was always drawing, trying to capture images and ideas. Understanding line and form particularly appealed to me. If I noticed something intriguing I would try to draw it. Beautifully crafted objects held a special appeal, but I was also fascinated by faces and expressions.

Once I left school I had no formal art training until I started taking painting classes in 2022. The support of my art group has been invaluable. Natural forms and images still inspire my work, but I now get enormous satisfaction by exploring the use of colour in my images.
